‘RainForest Palette’ is a study of colours in an old growth temperate rainforest on Vancouver Island. Whenever I do a series of pieces in a similar environment; I like to make a colour study. After I work with the series for a while; the palette study becomes something of an icon or encapsulation of the environment for me.
