‘Green Timbers Study #3’-2017, 80x80cm This is one of the images I’ll be showing with Mona Youssef Galley, at the Lausanne Art Fair, April 19th-22nd. More info here: http://www.lausanneartfair.com/index.php/en/galleries/item/719-mona-youssef-gallery
‘West Point-PEI’-2018, 52″x 78″ It’s the end of March and winter hasn’t released it’s grip yet! I needed a “trip to the beach”, so I pulled these image captures from last summer’s library and made ‘West Point-PEI’. A great place to “be a kid”.
‘George’s Forest Dream’-2017, 40″x40″ My Dog “George” thinks he owns this forest! He carefully sniffs and dispenses his “social media communications” on all his carefully selected spots. He carefully analyses everything through his nose. I’m convinced he’s primarily a nose attached to a brain… Like any dog; if you don’t distract him from his nose, you won’t get his attention. How do dogs dream?…
‘North Cape, PEI’, 2017-40″x 40″ Prince Edward Island is famous for its’ red soil and beaches. The North Cape is hauntingly beautiful; when you’re there… there’s nothing else.
‘North Atlantic Morning Globe’-2017, 45″x 45″ This is what happens when you start shooting before morning coffee! Nothing is straight and the colour isn’t right… Being at one… with sea, rocks and sky at Peggy’s Cove, Nova Scotia.
‘Green Timbers Study #3’-2017, 40″x 40″ I love the temperate rainforests of British Columbia; my dog’s a big fan too. Green Timbers forest is fully in the center of Surrey and is a city preserve. I’m lucky to have it within walking distance and the dog couldn’t agree more! I decided to try to simulate how it might appear, through his eyes…
‘Green Timbers with George’-2017, 45″x 75″ Green Timbers Forest is pretty good as urban forests go. It’s a world of it’s own… deserving of protection. My dog, George… thinks it’s his turf. He patiently waits while I fiddle with my camera.
